A place of Christian worship for nearly 1400 years

St Aidan's Church and the Crypt are open every day from 10am -4pm. You are welcome to visit this remarkable historic building, both for its history and for private prayer.

Our main Sunday service is the Parish Eucharist (Holy Communion)  at 11am.

Our Apologies

Some areas of the church are currently screened off while building works are in progress.  We hope that the work will be completed by early December and hope that this does not put you off visiting our church as most of the church is still open for visitors.
